Tribal Children Care Project is one of the projects of Brighter Future, which is currently running in the district of Rayagada, Odisha for the tribal children’s Holistic development and care. In the tribal villages, the residents of the villagers are below the poverty line (BPL), they depend on the nearby hills and the forest they collect firewood, raw materials, etc they sell in the market and earn their bread and butter some people cultivation and small business also like chicken, goats, cattle rearing and agriculture. Most of the tribal villages do not have any PHC for medical purposes and there are no primary schools for the education of children in the villages. School dropouts are very high in these villages. Brighter Future visited the villages and interacted with the villagers, young people, and elders and discussed the problems of the village.
Brighter Future initiated the Tribal children’s care program in 3 of the tribal villages in the Rayagada District of Odisha State.
The motto of the project is to cut down the educational dropout in the villages and also to provide nutritious food to eradicate starvation in the villages. This project will be a holistic development for the Tribal children in the villages.
