At Brighter Future Development Trust, disabled care focuses on dignity, inclusion, and independence. We work with persons affected by leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, and other disabilities who face social exclusion, stigma, and limited access to healthcare and livelihoods. Through community-based interventions, rehabilitation support, advocacy, and capacity building, we help individuals manage disability, protect their rights, and rebuild confidence. Our programs also strengthen self-help groups and local networks, enabling access to healthcare services, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods. By addressing both physical needs and social barriers, BFDT supports persons with disabilities to participate fully in their families and communities.
