A village that cares for the children and adults with HIV /AIDS, providing care and support to them to lead their lives smoothly: Shanti Nivas (Home of Peace)
Shanti Nivas Children’s Village is a multi-facilitated model village constructed for children with HIV/AIDS and Orphans with the kind donation of Sri. Ramesh Dewan founder chairman of The Dewan Foundation, UK. The people with HIV, Leprosy, and Disability and the mothers who are infected with HIV and thrown out from their communities are also residing in the village along with their children.
The village provides the best care to the children and Adults with high-standard facilities for 110 children out of 110 children 75 children with HIV /AIDS we provide them the best palliative care with nutrients, medical and psychological support good education in various aspects of the village. Apart from children we also take care of the men and women who are also immunity-challenged and thrown out or discarded from their families due to HIV-related stigma and discrimination. We provide them with care and support so they can be mentally stable and lead their own life in the village. The Shanti Nivas gives care to more than 150 children and adults.
