a world shadowed by disability and poverty, her family’s struggle was the backdrop to her early years. With a father affected by leprosy and
succumbing to health issues. However, amidst the adversity, there was a glimmer of hope in the form of Brighter Future. Their unwavering commitment to the leprosy affected community brought them to the doorstep of Priyanka’s family. Recognizing the dire circumstances, they extended a helping hand, providing nutritional support and a lifeline to a brighter future. Priyanka’s resilience shone through as she embraced every opportunity afforded to her. When Brighter Future offered her a chance to stay at the Rainbow home, she seized it with both hands, seeing it as a stepping stone toward her dreams. With Brighter Future’s support, Priyanka embarked on a journey of education and empowerment. She immersed herself in her studies, fueled by a burning desire to make a difference in the lives of others, just like her father. Her hard work paid off as she completed her formal education, setting her sights on a career in nursing. Through sheer grit and determination, Priyanka pursued her dreams, enrolling in General Nursing Midwifery courses. Her dedication caught the attention of Medicover Hospital, where she spent two transformative years honing her skills and gaining invaluable experience. But Priyanka’s journey didn’t stop there. Fuelled by the support and encouragement of Brighter Future, she seized yet another opportunity, carving a path for herself in the world of nursing, This time in Bahrain.
Today, she stands proudly as a nurse in a renowned hospital, a testament to the transformative power of education and support.
